Your Role

As a destruction technician at SAAB Aeronautics, you will be part of our maintenance organization and play a key role in ensuring that our production processes function as expected. The work primarily involves the handling and control of various liquids, including adjusting pH levels as well as sampling and analysis. This is a varied and challenging job that requires precision and accuracy while also providing great freedom and stimulating tasks.

In our production, many different chemical products and materials are used and consumed, including ultra-pure water with specific requirements for various concentrates and acids. As a destruction technician, you are responsible for handling these materials safely, including sorting, labeling, packaging, and transporting them to various types of destruction depending on the properties of the material.

You will also work with sampling and measuring water both inside and outside the facility, with a particular focus on the emissions leaving the facility.

This is a specialist area that takes time to master, but for the right person, it is a rewarding and developing role where you can contribute to safe and sustainable production.

Your Profile

To thrive and succeed in the role of destruction technician, we believe you are a practical person who is both handy and meticulous. You easily grasp instructions, work methodically, and understand the importance of handling materials correctly - from sorting and labeling to safe packaging and transport.

We are looking for someone who is social, attentive, and enjoys collaborating. With us, a positive attitude and a professional demeanor are just as important as technical competence. We work as a team where collaboration and common goals are in focus.

It is an advantage if you have experience in chemical handling and are aware of the risks associated with working with chemicals and hazardous waste. If you also have ADR training or a forklift license (up to 3 tons), we consider that an asset.

To be eligible for the position, you need to have a B driver's license and be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
